Black Students Suspended After Receiving Racist Video !?

Wow, now how does this work?  Two white students thought it was funny to make a video with racial slurs while sporting a KKK hood, sent the video to black friend students, a fight broke out, black students suspended for fighting, white students continue to go to school?

According to a news report two white students who attend Yulee High School in Florida posted a Snapchat video with one of the students wearing a KKK hood while another reportedly said, “Hold on, you see that? It’s a ni**er,” and pointed to the camera.  

According to Nassau County Public School Assistant Superintendent Mark Durham:

“The video contained racial slurs and images,”   “It resulted in a physical altercation involving several students. Disciplinary actions consistent with the district’s code of conduct have been given to students involved in the altercation and in sending the Snapchat video.”  “Individuals committing such acts will be subject to disciplinary consequences,”  “We recognize that many students were negatively affected by the content of this video and the school is prepared to support their needs.”

The parents of the young men that were suspended for real has thrown a flag on the play.  According to the black students parents the white students were not disciplined so they are taking their protests to the next level.

“The fact that this kid that made this vile, nasty, distasteful video is still walking around campus while you have kids who confronted him to defend themselves are sitting at home is two-thirds of the problem,”
