In the midst of the Los Angeles wildfires that has turned many peoples home to ashes and many finding out that the insurance companies won’t cover their loss, celebrities are stepping up to the plate to help. Beyoncé, whose mother Tina Knowles lost her Malibu bungalow, which was destroyed in the devastating Palisades fire, is giving $2.5 million to the Los Angeles Fire Relief Fund through her BeyGood Foundation.
The BeyGOOD foundation made an announced via Instagram letting Los Angeles know that they stand with them.
“BeyGOOD is taking action by announcing the LA Fire Relief Fund with a donation of 2.5 million dollars.” “The fund is earmarked to aid families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who lost their homes, and to churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires,”
The L.A. County Medical Examiner confirmed the death toll from the devastating wildfires had risen to 24.
