First Beyonce’ and Jay-Z were ‘Crazy In Love’ then they were ‘Apesh@t’ now after being royalty of the Hip Hop culture with multi successful business ventures Tiffany & Co. every woman favorite jewelry store is making them the face of the ‘About Love’ campaign.
However now Beyoncé and Jay-Z, are getting dragged after appearing in a new Tiffany & Co. advertising campaign that features a never-before-seen painting by late NY artist Jean-Michel Basquiat. Many critics are wondering how the anti-capitalist Basquiat would feel about having his work featured in a jewelry ad.
But forgive us we digressed.
Beyonce’s and Jay-Z, ‘The Carter’s” were dripped and laced as royalty should be.
For Tiffany & Co., Beyoncé was laced in the 128.54 carat Tiffany Diamond, previously worn by only three other people (one of them Audrey Hepburn), along with a host of other luxury jewels.
Jay-Z wasn’t left out of the Tiffany & Co. ice out party, as he rocked a neat black tux a Bird on a Rock brooch by Jean Schlumberger, one of the most renowned jewelers of the 20th century who was once vice president of Tiffany & Co, was refashioned into a one-of-a-kind pair of cuff links he also had an Apollo brooch in platinum, yellow gold, and diamonds, as well as a slew of other Tiffany pieces, including one of their new engagement rings for men.
