Baton Rouge Hairstylist Cuts Off 11yr Old’s Braids Over $25 Appointment Late Fee [VIDEO]

Hairstylist are artistic gurus that go hard in the paint for their craft and coin.  It’s always been a turn off for customers as well as hairstylist to be late, nobody likes to spend their whole day in the salon and hairstylist have a life outside the shop and would like to go home accordingly when their day is done.  Hence where the late fee came in with some hairstylists.  You make an appointment, you come in late and want your hair done, you get charged an extra fee.  This fee presumably keeps everyone on track so that the beauty train keeps moving.  However a Baton Rouge, Louisiana Hairstylist derailed her train recently when she cut off an 11 year old’s braids because her mother wouldn’t pay the $25 late fee.

According to The Daily Mail, the mother of an 11 year old, who’s six months pregnant, arrived at 5:10pm, 10 minutes late to their 5:00 pm time slot. The stylist who charges a $25 late fee for any client that is later than 10 minutes past the scheduled time, braids the little girls hair.  After being told they’d have to pay an additional $25 for the service, on top of what the mother had already pre-paid, the mother refused to pay it saying she was within the grace period time.  That’s when the argument broke out and the stylist proceeded to grab some scissors and cut the little girls braids off.

Of course the incident was caught on tape that went viral on social media, Draft Picks Barbershop released a statement confirming the stylist had been fired, extending their apologies to the client and her family.  But the family wants the hairstylist charged
