Some seem to think that Will Smith’s attack on Chris Rock during the Oscars Sunday night was something deeper then a ‘G.I. Jane’ joke. Some blame Jada Pinkett Smith’s ‘Red Table Talk’ especially the episode where the word ‘entanglement’ became a trending term, the day when the laundry of Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith and August Alsina became headline news. Although August Alsina started the airing of there business ‘The Red Table’ blew that subject up. So much so that just recently Laverne Cox got herself into her own “entanglement” with social media after receiving backlash for her closing remark while finishing up her interview with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith on the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet when she said “We can’t wait for more Red Table Talk and more entanglements” ironically and incident that Laverne Cox wouldn’t apologize for.
“I did not apologize, I am contextualizing,” “This is not an apology. If the Smiths need an apology from me, I’ll find out privately and I’ll do it privately. This isn’t an apology, this is a love letter to them.”
So when the slap heard around the world went down, the first crack someone offered up was…’you didn’t slap August Alsina, like that’. Although the analogy is funny/true, that sentiment running all over social media summoned Ausgut Alsina and his inner Shaman. That’s right August Alsina did not get slapped but he sure had something to say via social media.

August Alsina is so lucky that Will Smith didn’t take a ‘piece’ out of him.
