Young Scooter, the Atlanta rapper who was signed to Future and Waka Flocka Flame, died at the age of 39 on his birthday. Young Scooter died while fleeing from police officers, injuring his leg after jumping two fences, and later succumbed to tearing a femoral artery at the hospital. The tragic event that led to Young Scooter’s death started after someone made a 911 call, a someone that is now being sought by Atlanta police who police are now finding suspicious and that this might be a swatting incident.
Swatting is a form of criminal harassment that involves deceiving an emergency service into sending a police or emergency service response team to another person’s address.
According to a 911 call where the caller reported a violent attack on a woman who was bleeding, and a child was present, with shots being fired
“He’s beating her bloody. He’s dragged her back in the house,”
Officers arrived, they knocked on the door and a male opened the door and immediately shut the door on the officers. Officers then surrounded the area, then said two men fled from the back of the residence. One of them returned to the house, the other man allegedly rapper Young Scooter jumped two fences before being found injured nearby.
But now Atlanta police, are working to track down the 911 caller. They said they’ve offered a $5,000 reward, adding that the call was made from a 911-only phone, which is more difficult to trace.
