Angela Yee is so much more than Lip Service.  Yee stepped out on faith to do her own thing in radio, now she is tithing her blessing into helping sistas that are in need of help.

The ‘Way Up With Angela Yee’ host bought a 30-unit building in Midtown, Detroit, Michigan with plans to use 10 units for formerly incarcerated women.

According to Angela Yee:

“We’re providing housing for people who really need it,”  “It’s a real struggle for people once they get incarcerated to find adequate housing.” “I feel like the best and most satisfying thing is when somebody is like, you changed my life,”

Yee has partnered up with Dr. Topeka K. Sam, who started Ladies of Hope Ministries to help formerly incarcerated women, to bring this important project to light.
