After 25 Years Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ Is Number 1

Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ has become a classic must hear Christmas song over the holiday season (even with the Christmas snafu she had singing it live a few years back).  It rates right up there with ‘Let It Snow’ by Boyz II Men, ‘This Christmas’ (everybody’s rendition) and ‘Silent Night’ sang by the Temptations.

But here is little unknown fact that has been rectified by Billboard,  Mariah Carey’s version of ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ was debuted 25 years ago, even though you hear it everywhere you go, every store, every radio station etc etc, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ is just now hitting #1 on the HOT 100 Billboard Charts.

This makes Mariah’s 19th song to reach that pinnacle.
