Adopted Man Finds Out That His Biological Father Is A Grammy Award Winning Member Of the ‘Doobie Brothers’ [VIDEO]

A lot of people when they learn sometime in their life that they have been adopted want to know about the parent that gave them away.  Recently a man wanted to know who his biological parents were and found out his father is Grammy Awards winning artist and founding member of the legendary ‘The Doobie Brothers’.  

I wonder if this story is the true meaning of the lyrics to ‘What A Fool Believes’ by The Doobie Brothers’ ??

Michael Goessling of St. Louis always knew he was adopted. But what he did not who, for nearly 58 years, was his biological father.  After receiving the letter that began it all, meeting his biological mother and learning his biological father was a mysterious musician named “Mike,.”  Well Michael finally got ahold of his bio dad ‘Mike’ on the phone.  Michael Goessling while talking to his bio dad Mike learned that he would be coming to St. Louis on tour at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater.  After googling concerts at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater, Michael Goessling was like wait a minute “Are you Michael McDonald?” and his bio dad responded “Yep, afraid so.”

What’s even crazier over the years Michael Goessling was a ‘Doobie Brothers’ fan who had attended their concerts never knowing that he was watching his father perform.
