Actor Isiah Whitlock Jr. From ‘The Wire’ Has Passed At 71

Prayers are in order as it has been reported that Isiah Whitlock Jr. best known for his role as corrupt state senator Clay Davis on the HBO television series ‘The Wire’ has passed at the age of 71 years old.

Isiah Whitlock Jrs. manager Brian Liebman told Deadline that Whitlock died peacefully after battling a short illness:

“Isiah was a brilliant actor and even better person,” “He was loved by all who had the pleasure to work with or know him. He will be greatly missed.” -manager Brian Liebman
