78 Year Old Overdoses On Fentanyl After Publix Pharmacy Gives Her The Wrong Medicine [VIDEO]

A 78 year old woman accidently overdosed on fentanyl after Publix Pharmacy gave her the wrong medicine.  What’s even crazier they offered her $4K because of the mix up that landed her in the hospital.

Reportedly  78 year old Betty Thomas went to her local Publix to pick up her prescription but was given patches meant for a Betty Davis.  It wasn’t until she was throwing up, dizzy, and unable to use the restroom, that she noticed something wasn’t right.  Ms. Thomas who thought she was using hormone patches after 3 weeks ended up in the hospital only to find out she was overdosing on fentanyl patches.  

According to the family, Publix sent an email on July 7 offering Betty Thomas $4,000 to compensate her for the incident and cover her medical expenses.
