50 Cent Speaks On Confronting Tyler Perry About Mo’Nique [VIDEO]

You probably can say many things about rapper/television producer Curtis ’50 Cent’ Jackson, but the one thing you can’t say is he doesn’t speak his mind, no matter what you think about it it.  The other thing is 50 Cent is about reaching out and helping where he can.  

50 Cent set out to make the story of ‘BMF’ the next ‘Power Universe’ and he did so by not only telling the story but putting the main character, Big Meech Flenory, son, Lil Meech, through acting school so that he could portray his pops.

The story of ‘BMF’ is about people coming together as one family, everybody moving like new money, so it was only fitting when 50 Cent seen actress/comedian Mo’Nique performing in a comedy club that he would offer a place in the family and help Mo’Nique to move like new money once again.

In a recent interview 50 Cent discussed helping Mo’Nique and his conversation with Tyler Perry following the incident about TP recognizing his power in Hollywood.

“Like, Mo’Nique, why is she cancelled? I had to revisit that,”  “I know Tyler wouldn’t support that,” …“He never told nobody not to work with her… When I talked to him, he was like, ‘Nah, I never told no one not to work with her.’ And I said, ‘But you’re Tyler Perry and you never told anyone to work with her.’ He was like, ‘I never looked at it like that.’”
