4 Indicted For Dismembering An Atlanta Barber And Dumping Him In A Reservoir

On May 15, officials say the body of a man was recovered from the Dog River Reservoir along Highway 166. DNA evidence eventually helped the Georgia Bureau of Investigation identify the man as 37-year-old Jamal Parker, an Atlanta bartender and artist. Four people are formally being charged in the murder, a grand jury indicted Brittany Baker, Mario Barber, David Barber and Ambria Boyd for malice murder and several other charges.

According to the 28-count indictment, Amber Baker, Mario Andre Barber, David Devante Barber and Ambria Sadia Boyd are accused of killing Parker before allegedly removing his head and hands and disposing of his body at the Dog River Reservoir in Douglas County.  

A motive has not been publicly revealed, but Parker’s father said the people accused were individuals his son knew and trusted.
