$15K Reward Offered in The Shooting of 7 Year Old Atlanta Girl [VIDEO]

A $15K reward is being offered in the shooting of a little 7 year old girl in the Buckhead area of Atlanta near Phipps Plaza while she and her family were Christmas shopping.

7 year old Kennedy Maxie was doing some Christmas shopping on December 21st with her mother and auntie.  While they were riding in their car past Phipps Plaza shots rang out and a stray bullet struck the 7 year old in the back in of the head.  When Kennedy’s family realized she was hit they called 911 while rushing her to the hospital.  Last known Kennedy Maxie is alive but in critical condition, however the shooter remains at large.

According to FOX5 Atlanta reporter Eric Perry via Twitter on Wednesday,

“This is 7-year-old Kennedy Maxie. She was shot in the head while she was in the car with family passing Phipps Plaza in Buckhead. Police believe an argument in the area of the mall lead to her being hit by the stray bullet. There’s a $15,000 reward for info @FOX5Atlanta.”

We will be keeping little Kennedy Maxie as well as her family in our prayers and urge that if someone that knows anything about this horrific incident to please contact authorities.
