10yr Old Missouri Boy Becomes Youngest Person In The State To Face Murder Charges [VIDEO]

This is truly a sad story a 10 year old boy from Missouri is making history for all the wrong reasons, as he will be the youngest person in the state to face murder charges after shooting a 7 month old baby girl in the head.

A 10 year old boy, who has not been identified because of his age, allegedly shot 7 month old Kiyomi Parker in the head after finding a gun hidden under a mattress inside a St. Louis home. Officers rushed the infant to a nearby hospital, but she later died from her injuries.  The 10 year old who is being charged with 1st degree murder allegedly told police he knew where the gun was kept because it was easily accessible and also admitted he had previously taken it out and touched it before.

The father of the baby 19 year old Ca’Marion Pawnell, is facing second-degree murder and child endangerment charges after investigators said he admitted the gun belonged to him and that he had hidden it under the mattress.

State law say’s that a juvenile must be at least 12 years old to be tried as an adult, the 10 year old could face 11 years before he ages out of the system.
