Most people when they hear about school shootings that involve innocent children always ask the question, WHY? Last week a 16 year old shot his way into Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon, killing three young children, ages 5, 8, and 11, along with a teacher, before a good Samaritan, ran inside the school, shooting and killing the 16 year old. The mother of the 16 year old shooter is speaking saying that he was a ‘good boy’ and if she could have prevented the horrific incident she would have.
Reportedly Shauntai May Nickerson, who is the mother of Griffin J. John II, the school shooter, was seen crying and smoking a cigarette outside her apartment complex as reporters approached her following Thursday’s deadly shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School. Despite the devastating allegations against her son, Nickerson described the teenager as a good child, telling reporters,
“He was a good boy, he really was.”…“I’m so sorry, I wish I could have done something. I’m sorry for their loss,”
Authorities are investigating what prompted a 16-year-old Griffin J. John II, to enter his former elementary school in Bend, Oregon, and open fire inside a special education classroom
