This story is sad no matter what three sides of the story you fall on.
Social Media has become an entertainment source that allows people to earn income for content. A poplar streamer has taken his truth to the court of public opinion who has been deliberating by the day has more testimony come out about the sexual abuse he endured by the hands of his own brother.
Reggie (Reggie Travers, also known as girlhefunny1x and “Lil Rodney Son”) is a Baltimore-based comedian, content creator, and former Twitch streamer with over 1.1 million followers on Twitch and hundreds of thousands of subscribers/followers across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram who in 2026 posted emotional videos and livestreams discussing personal trauma and alleging past childhood abuse by his brother.
“I’m not scared no more,” … “James, you took advantage of me while I was young and you had me questioning myself my whole life. You made me think I was gay. My brother … my brother tried to molest me, bro. My brother touched me sexually, n-gga.”…“I know some people gon’ laugh cause that sh-t is crazy as hell. But everybody like me knows you aren’t alone, but I had to get this demon off my back,” …”Shoutout to my mama, because when I told my mama, I know she ain’t know and it hurt me.”
Reggie’s older brother, James Mack, sat down for an interview of his own and gave his take on things. While admitting to harming Reggie and apologizing, James said he did receive help and went on his own healing journey. He basically shared that he’s not in support of how Reggie and their mom have been going about things publicly and would prefer a sit-down amongst family.
Their mother of Reggie and James is claiming James isn’t being all the way honest, saying the he declined help for years and the system failed their family for considering the sexual assault as “child experimentation” and not putting the “predator” on the sex offender list.
