Chris Brown Wishes Folks Would Just Leave Him Alone After Texas State Rep. Honored Him Then Took It Back [VIDEO]

At what point does singer Chris Brown get forgiven for his domestic violence case against singer Rihanna in 2009? Mind you an incident that Rihanna herself has forgiven. Days after receiving an honor from the State of Texas, the representatives that bestowed the honor apologized for doing so after receiving alleged backlash from doing so.  Now Chris Brown is saying thanks but no thanks you can have your little honor and he wishes folks would just leave him alone to entertain the fans that support him and BTW it was their idea to present him the honor not his.

“Thank you so much,”  “I apologize for any backlash you have to deal with for awarding for me.” He added that he is “not political” and expressed gratitude for the recognition. “I’m not political but I move off of frequency and energy and I’m so grateful. ONCE AGAIN, THANK YOU.”

“Funny thing is, y’all came to me with this ! Not the other way around,” “I was minding my damn business. My shows in Dallas were already sold out. I ain’t ask to be honored because I knew some sh-t like this would happen and @ventonionest immediately started tap dancing and apologizing because he didn’t wanna lose voters and support.”

 “I have a great idea.. how about yall leave me the f-ck alone and let me focus on the fans that spent their money to actually see and support me.”

Chris Browns response comes following Texas State Rep. Venton Jones, appearing on Don Lemon’s morning show on Tuesday to apologize to Black women and domestic abuse survivors for awarding Brown with a proclamation.
