Praise God, 163 , ages 2 months to 17 years old, missing Florida children were rescued and 3 men have been arrest in operation ‘Statewide Shield‘.
Officials are calling it the largest child-recovery operation in Florida history, and it reached way past state lines. Tampa Bay led with 46 kids recovered, Miami followed with 41, Jacksonville had 32, Orlando pulled in 21, and smaller but just as important recoveries came out of Fort Myers, Pensacola, and Tallahassee. Investigators also tracked leads into Alabama, California, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Puerto Rico even reaching overseas into a dozen countries including Brazil, Jamaica, Ghana, Mexico and Colombia.
Three men were arrested in connection with the sweep, Jayden Allen Harwood, Robert Ferral Allison, and Michael Corey Prescott, on charges tied to predatory behavior against minors, including lewd acts with a child and interference with child custody. Michael Prescott was picked up by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office on August 21st. Investigators say more arrests could be coming as the related cases continue to develop.
