Mother Evelyn Braxton Shares News of Newest Braxton Addition That Resemblance Caused Her To Do A Double Take

Everyone was caught off guard and shocked when news broke that famous Braxton singing sisters, Traci had passed away after battling esophageal cancer  at the age of 50 years old.  Traci Braxton left behind to carry on her legacy her only child, Kevin Surratt Jr. and her only grandchild Kevin Surrat III.

Congratulations are in order as recently the matriarch of the Braxton family, Evelyn Braxton, shared that there is a newest addition to the family and the resemblance caused her to do a double take.  Traci Braxton’s son Kevin Jr. has welcomed another child into the world, a daughter, who not only has a striking resemblance of her late grandmother but who also carries Traci’s middle name Renee.

Mother Evelyn Braxton shared the joyous news with a photo post via her social media:

Congratulations to my grandson, @sirkevinjr on the birth of his beautiful baby girl my great- granddaughter Renee! Though Traci may no longer be here with us in the flesh, her legacy lives on through her beautiful granddaughter, who proudly carries her middle name Renee. The resemblance was so striking when she was born that I had to do a double take—it was like seeing Traci all over again when she was baby.  Your legacy continues, and your love continues to shine through generations.
