An Amazon employee, De-Twon McShan, died after collapsing at the Euclid, Ohio fulfillment center on Sunday, May 10, 2026. McShan reportedly felt unwell, passed out at his workstation, and was later pronounced dead. His family is searching for clarity on the events that led to De-Twon McShan’s death while on duty.
According to a Euclid Police report, in response to a 911 call from Amazon, at around 6:50 p.m., officers responded to the Amazon warehouse to assist Euclid Fire with a medical emergency, where McShan was unresponsive as first responders provided aid. McShan was then taken to Euclid Hospital.
Amazon released a statement saying, “Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his family and our colleagues in Euclid,” , however the family claims they haven’t heard from anyone in regards to what happened and they have to get an attorney to see the video footage.
