Savannah Guthrie Has Returned To The ‘Today’ Show [VIDEO]

Savannah Guthrie has been missing from the ‘Today’ show since her mother went missing February 1st and Savannah went to Arizona to be with her family praying for the safe return of her mother.  During a recent ‘Dateline’ interview with Hoda Kotb, Savannah said it was hard to imagine coming back to a show with such an upbeat tone, but said doing so is part of her “purpose.”  Sadly Savannah’s mother has not been found but today she walked in her purpose of returning to the ‘Today’ show.

Neighbors, on Monday morning, Savannah Guthrie returned to the anchor chair at the Today show alongside Craig Melvin, with a crowd of fans cheering her on. Savannah public thanked the crowd and fans for their prayer while kicking off the broadcast by running through the morning’s top headlines before turning to Craig and saying,

“It is good to be home.”… “Well, here we go, ready or not, let’s do the news.”

Shout out to the team at the ‘Today’ show for their tremendous support that they all gave and continue to give Savannah, showing that they are more then just collogues or a job, but family.
