Actor Omar Gooding best known for his roles in ‘Baby Boy’, ‘Barber Shop’ and ‘Hangin With Mr. Cooper’, just to name a few, and the younger brother of Cuba Gooding Jr., has revealed that he was in a bad car accident.
Live from his hospital bed with a neck brace, on Sunday, Omar Gooding shared a video on Instagram telling fans that he got into a bad car accident. Omar Gooding gave his fans an update while appearing to be in very good spirits letting them know he was fine and didn’t need surgery. He even joked that if anyone wanted to do him a favor, they could sent him some seatbelt commercials.
“I’m good, no surgery needed, thank Jesus!” “I’m gonna start doing seatbelt commercials. So for everybody that wants to send me something, send me them seatbelt commercial ads.”
In a second video post Omar Gooding captioned it saying:
THANK YOU FOR ALL OF THE LOVE!!! Now let me heal please. This shit HURTS. But I’m tuff. Niggas get they necks broke every day B .. I’ll be aight 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

According to Omar Gooding he suffered a Hangman’s fracture while sleeping in the back of a car on the way to an airport, according to his doctors his recovery will take around three months.
