‘Beauty in Black’ Star Xavier Smalls ‘Angel’ Apologizes After Upsetting The LGBTQ+ Community [VIDEO]

The thing about a hit television series is, an unknown actors social media can from a few followers to Trolls heaven digging through your past posts to catch up on who is this ‘new television show fan favorite’ that has stock has risen with the television show.  The good thing is when your a new hot actor your likes and follows go up, however if you ever posted something that you might think someone will turn into a negative you should probably scrub.  Tyler Perry just dropped the rest of season 2 of ‘Beauty in Black’ on Netflix, and the LGBTQ+ community was ready to drop kick Xavier Smalls because of an old video he posted.  Now Xavier Smalls is apologizing for his past discretion. 

Xavier Smalls the 28 year old newby star actor on ‘Tyler Perry’s Beauty In Black’ playing the role of Angel, recently found himself being portrayed as the devil when a clip from a February Instagram Live resurfaced and went viral, the video shows Smalls speaking about religion. In the video, he suggested that God would not accept LGBTQ+ community into heaven, comparing them to other “sins” like murder and substance abuse. Smalls has issued an apology, saying he understands the harm his words caused and taking accountability for offending the LGBTQ+ community. He reportedly acknowledged that he “misspoke” and expressed regret for the pain his comments created, making it clear he didn’t intend to attack anyone personally.

Ironically, Xavier Smalls, plays the role of Angel who plays a stripper turned special friend to Horace Bellarie a rich black millionaire that is severely on the down-low.
