Kelly Clarkson Say’s She Never Got Her $1Mil Check Or Car After Winning Season 1 of ‘American Idol’ [VIDEO]

America’s Next Top Model has been catching mad heat following Netflix docuseries Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model. It sound like American Idol might be next, following singer/television host, Kelly Clarkson revealing recently that she never received her coins or car after winning season one of American Idol.

Kelly Clarkson revealed in a recent interview that she never received the $1 million check or car promised after winning Season 1 of ‘American Idol’ but instead, the show provided “a $1 million investment” in her career but still no car, even though she was in need of a car at the time because hers had broke down.

During Tuesday’s episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” Kelly was joined by “Harry Potter” actor Daniel Radcliffe and reality star Rob Rausch.  While discussing Rausch’s $220,800 winnings from Season 4 of “The Traitors” Rob Rausch revealed that he still hasn’t received it.  That conversation opened the American Idol Pandora Box from Kelly Clarkson:

“You know what, I relate to this!” “I relate to this so hardcore. You probably weren’t alive when I was on ‘American Idol,’ but I was literally on the show.” …“They were like, ‘Oh, you win a million dollars,’ or whatever,” Clarkson said. “No, you didn’t. They lied. It was like a million dollars’ worth of investment in you.”…“They said you get a car,” she explained. “And I needed it because my car was bashed in, and I couldn’t afford the deductible. And then — no! I did not get a car.”

However the season two American Idol revelation was even funnier:

“Clay Aiken, who didn’t win the second season, got a car — and [so did] his mom!”
