Jilly from Philly is stepping back into the spotlight after more than a decade away from releasing new music. After over a decade on Monday, March 9, the critically acclaimed, Grammy Award winning, singer, songwriter, actress and Philly native, Jill Scott announced her upcoming “To Whom It May Concern” world tour in support of her most recent album of the same name which has garnered critical acclaim and debuted in the top 10 of multiple Billboard charts, including Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Independent Albums. which was released on Feb. 13, 2026.
Jill Scott announced the album earlier this year, explaining that the project came after a long creative pause while she focused on personal growth and life changes. The new music reflects themes of love, heartbreak, and resilience.
The “To Whom It May Concern” world tour includes a 36-date run across Europe, the United Kingdom, South Africa and the United States, with her American tour dates including three stops at the Met Philadelphia, with each show being will be curated specifically to the host city. The 36-date “To Whom This May Concern World Tour” kicks off on June 4th with a two-night stand in Nashville, followed by other multi-night engagements in Washington, DC, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and Chicago. The US leg wraps up on September 3rd in Irving, Texas.
