Prayerfully that family of Former University of Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore will be moving towards healing after the fallen Head Coach took a plea deal following a relationship scandal that went horribly bad, and will now face misdemeanor sentencing.
Back in December of 2025 sport fans were in shock at the news that Michigan Football head coach Sherrone Moore was fired after the University of Michigan said it found evidence that Moore had an inappropriate relationship with a staffer. Then on that same Wednesday it was reported that Saline Police had detained Moore after officers responded to a call on the 3000 block of Ann Arbor-Saline Road for an alleged assault investigation. The charges were revealed, and it’s not good, home invasion, misdemeanor stalking, and breaking and entering. What started all of this?? Allegedly a woman Broke up with Sherrone Moore, who is married with children on Monday, then told Michigan officials about relationship. Allegedly Moore and the woman had been in a relationship for a number of years before breaking up, the problem allegedly came when Moore kept texting and calling following the break up in which she allegedly wanted him to stop doing.
Sherrone Moore appeared in Washtenaw County court Friday with his wife, Kelli Moore, where attorneys confirmed a plea agreement had been reached. The deal allows the former coach to plead no contest to two misdemeanor offenses instead of proceeding to a hearing on more serious accusations.
