Mathew Knowles Stops Interview For Host Bringing Up Tina Knowles’ Role in Destiny’s Child [VIDEO]

Mathew Knowles the father of Beyonce’ and Solange, who was part of giving us ‘Destiny’s Child’, in a recent interview to promote his Destiny’s Child tribute tour, things went sideways prompting Mathew Knowles to stop the interview and exit stage right leaving the interviewer shocked all because he asked about Tina Knowles role in ‘Destiny’s Child’.

On PIX11 anchor Kendis Gibson’s show “Kandid with Kendis”  during the conversation with Mathew Knowles, Gibson acknowledged the years of work both Mathew and Tina Knowles invested in building the careers of their daughters and the group, ‘Destiny’s Child’ that became one of the most successful R&B acts ever.   When Gibson said “You’ve earned your flowers,” … “You guys put in the work.”  Gibson became gobsmacked when Mathew Knowles responded “What work did she put in?”   Mathew Knowles the continued “The hair.”…. “OK, you’re absolutely right,” he said. “And the styling. The imaging. You’re right.”  The interview ended with Gibson asking, “Did I say something wrong?”

Mathew Knowles later said he decided to end the interview early because it had “started on a bad note,” he just wanted to focus on ‘Destiny’s Child’ tribute concert.

Tina Knowles owned her own beauty salon before ‘Destiny’s Child’ made it big, famously styling the group members’ hair throughout their career and designed their costumes before they shot to superstardom because few designers would dress them.
