Usher’s Ex-Wife Tameka Foster Peaceful Arrest At Georgia Airport [VIDEO]

If you are famous and you have a warrant and you fly into Georgia, 9 times out of 10 you will probably get arrested.  So it’s safe to say officers are used to it.  Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster had maybe the most friendly arrest in history, even getting a few laughs out of her arresting officer.

According to Tameka Foster, the situation began last summer while she was driving along Peachtree Road in Atlanta. She says an officer pulled her over despite her not speeding, breaking any traffic laws, or making an illegal turn. “It felt like one of those ‘driving while Black’ moments,” she shared.  After Tameka Provided her license and registration, the officer informed her that the system showed her insurance wasn’t current.  Like any adult would Tameka Foster acknowledged the issue, took the ticket, and fixed the problem.  The biggest problem came later when she found out that the tickets wasn’t waivable and required her appearance in court because they wanted in person proof that she had valid insurance.  When she didn’t appear they issued a warrant.  So when she returned from vacation after the warrant was issued, when she touched down police officers boarded up to escort her.
