The Sherri Shepherd Talk Show Canceled After 4 Seasons

What in the world is happening to television.  CBS is trying to push Gayle King out, The Kelly Clarkson Show is ending after seven seasons, now we are it being reports that The Sherri Shepherd Talk Show is being canceled after 4 seasons.

Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury confirms to PEOPLE on Monday, Feb. 2.

“This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production – which has found strong creative momentum this season – or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd,” Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus says in a statement to PEOPLE. “We believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms.”

Production on season 4 of The Sherri Shepherd Show will continue as planned with the series airing its final episodes in the fall.  Sherri Shepherd hasn’t commented on the cancelation news publicly.
