Cruising is supposed to be relaxing and drama free especially if you doing it for the holiday.  But that wasn’t’t the case for a Saint Paul, Minnesota mother who has been arrested for attacking a teen on a Carnival Cruise becauses he that the teen had attacked her teen.

Talk about a circus…

A mother, 38 year old Paetra Ann Grandsberry, was arrested and charged with child abuse following an incident aboard the Carnival Conquest cruise ship near the Bahamas on December 21. According to a Miami‑Dade County Sheriff’s Office report, Grandsberry believed a group of teens had attacked her sons and decided to take matters into her own hands. While speaking with security about the alleged incident, she spotted a group of teens running and, “without hesitation,” ran away from security and tackled a teenage boy she believed was involved, grabbing him by the collar, the arrest report states. The teen she tackled, however, had not been involved in any prior altercation. He told investigators he “was randomly walking down the hallway” when he joined the running crowd out of fear. He also claimed that Grandsberry called for her children to join in against him, saying he was “one of the kids who attacked my son.” Grandsberry later told authorities she “ran up on the victim and accidentally… fell on top of [him] and called him ‘little motherf‑‑‑‑‑.’”

Paetra Ann Grandsberry was taken into custody when the ship docked in Port Miami on December 22 and is being held on a $2,500 bond as investigations continue.
