Brian McKnight Jr. Shares Heartbreaking Moment His Dying Brother Wanted To Hear Their Father Tell Him He Loved Him “I Can’t Arbitrarily Say That I Love You” [VIDEO]

It has been no secret that R&B singer Brian McKnight has had a strange rocky relationship with his children from his first wife, Julie McKnight, in which they shared two sons Brian McKnight Jr. (the first one) and the recently deceased Niko. Brian McKnight and Julie McKnight were married from 1990 to 2003 and as of recent dates Brian McKnight has proclaimed that his children were not born in love.  What’s heartbreaking is that if Brian and Julie were never in love, why would you say that your children weren’t born in love and more importantly while your flesh in blood was dying why wouldn’t you grant him the wish of telling him you loved him?

During an exclusive interview with Marc Lamont Hill, and the first Brian McKnight Jr., shared the alleged heartbreaking memory of his dying brother Niko wanting Brian McKnight to tell him he loved him but wouldn’t saying “I can’t arbitrarily say that I love you.”

“One of the darkest and coldest and most disheartening memories of my life is the day my brother calls me, sobbing with all he’s going through, looking death in the eye, to tell me I’m right about telling him not to call my father because I knew what was going to happen. Because I knew where my dad was. I told him, ‘Dad is gone.’ All my brother wanted, needed, asked for, was my father to tell him he loves him. My father responds, ‘I can’t arbitrarily say that I love you.’”
