The Marathon Continues As The Nipsey Hussle Foundation Feeds 2,500 Families For The Holiday

Airmiess Joseph Asghedom, the West Coast rapper known as Nipsey Hussle was unceremoniously gunned down and murdered at the young age of 33 in front of his store Marathon Clothing, in South Los Angeles on March 31, 2019.  The murder of the Grammy award winning rapper Nipsey Hussle sent shock waves across the community as well as Hip Hop fans.  The mantra before and since his untimely passing has been ‘The Marathon Continues’ and through his foundation with his brother Blacc Sam holding it down it has.  

Nipsey Hussle’s archived Marathon Store opened up to the community Tuesday ahead of Thanksgiving, “spreading holiday cheer and enough food to fill their pantries!!!” Footage obtained by TMZ shows the Neighborhood Nip Foundation and Think Watts Foundation hosting a joint Thanksgiving drive. The turkey drive was a collaborative effort, and Nipsey’s partner, Lauren London, made a special appearance to show support.
