The Brooklyn Nets paid tribute to The Notorious B.I.G. during Biggie Night at Barclays Center, debuting their 2025 “Brooklyn Camo” City Edition uniforms inspired by the Brooklyn legend, and another Brooklyn legend/Biggie protégé The Queen Bee herself, Lil’ Kim was on deck to light up the festivities.

Lil’ Kim took to the special halftime court stage/show to honor the late Notorious B.I.G.  delivering her verse from “Notorious B.I.G.”

Lil’ Kim not only was Biggie Smalls’ protégé, they had a close, complex relationship that was both romantic and mentor-mentee. Biggie discovered her when she was a teenager, was impressed by her rapping, and helped her join his group, Junior M.A.F.I.A.. He was a key mentor in developing her career.

The Nets’ “Brooklyn Camo” City Edition uniforms, which feature a bold multicolor stripe pattern inspired by Biggie’s iconic Coogi sweaters with a “BED-STUY” patch, designed by graffiti legend Eric Haze, was stitched across the torso in tribute to the late rapper’s neighborhood roots.  The Nets will be sporting these jersey’s for 11 games this season.
