Prayers: Actor Hosea Chanchez, Malik Wright on ‘The Game’ Father Killed In A Hit And Run

No matter how old you get it is hard to loose a parent, especially if their death was unexpectant.  Prayers are in order as actor Hosea Chanchez known as Malik Wright of the television show ‘The Game’ has shared that his father was murdered recently.

According to a social media post by Hosea Chanchez his father, Ephraim Bristow, was murdered in Alabama this week by someone he said dragged his father’s body “a block & a half & then drove away like he was nothing.”

Two nights ago My father was killed on Troy highway in Alabama, and the murderer drug my father’s body a block & a half & then drove away like he was nothing. As my father was taking his last breath on the side of the road. He died shortly after. He had to have been scared. I know he wondered if we would ever find his body. I know he thought about me. I know it. & That breaks my heart the most, for him. He didn’t deserve that. What a sad world we live in. I can’t even believe someone would do this to him. My father.

According to Hosea Chanchez post his father battled with drug addiction,

“We hated everything he wasn’t, because what he wasn’t, was a drug addict, he became one, but HE wasn’t one. … Him ‘on drugs’ was just a reaction to a foreign entity being induced in his body.” “My father was more than that. & I will assure that’s what we remember most, just how incredible of a man he was. He didn’t deserve what happened to him. No one does.” And added, “What a sad world we live in. I can’t even believe someone would do this to him. My father.”
