What happened to the saying “we can agree to disagree” ? Making your thoughts and opinions public especially on social media can get you in trouble these days, especially if certain people don’t agree with what you said.
Megyn Marie Kelly is a journalist, attorney, political commentator, and media personality, who currently hosts The Megyn Kelly Show, a talk show and podcast that airs daily on Sirius XM’s Triumph channel and has over 3.6 million subscribers on YouTube. Jemele Hill is an Emmy Award winning journalist who was critical of President Donald Trump in 2017 on Twitter and was later suspended for two weeks for a second violation of ESPN’s social media policy when she suggested fans of the Dallas Cowboys boycott the team’s sponsors in retaliation for Jerry Jones’ stance on players kneeling during the national anthem.
Recently the 54 year old Megyn Kelly called Jemele Hill a “jerk” and made comments about her appearance, saying, “You can’t both be ugly on the outside and the inside, you need to choose one, Jemele Hill. That was absolutely disgusting”. In response to Jemele Hill’s comments in regards to the late Charlie Kirk a right-wing political activist, entrepreneur, and media personality, who co-founded the conservative organization Turning Point USA in 2012 and was its executive director.
In a deleted post Jemele Hill allegedly said, “The LA Times spoke with an expert (imagine that!) about the markings on the killer’s bullet casings and turns out … Charlie Kirk likely was the victim of a white supremacist gang hit. Well, well, well,”
Jemele Hill response to Megyn Kelly was:
I rarely respond to personal attacks from other media members because I think it doesn’t serve me. But I ain’t Michele Obama. With certain things, if you go low, I go to the gutter. Megyn Kelly called me ugly and said I needed some work done. And for that, I had to fry her. Also, let’s see if she keeps that same energy should she see me in person (doubt it).
