HBCU’s On Lockdown For Alleged ‘Terroristic Threats’ Following Charlie Kirk Assassination

If you think things couldn’t get any worse, think again.  It is being reported that multiple Historically Black Colleges and Universities are on lockdown for alleged ‘terroristic threats’ following the assignation of 31 year old conservative activist Charlie Kirk who was shot during a speaking event at Utah Valley University, by an unknown gunman from 200 yards away.

Alabama State University, Hampton University and Virginia State University locked down the morning of Thursday, Sept. 11, after unspecified threats were made against all three campuses.  Virginia State shared an “urgent alert” at 8:30 a.m. ET, declaring the campus closed and advising students, faculty, and staff to check their emails. In a statement to local 8News, a school representative said the closure was “due to a potential threat” and that students who are on campus should remain indoors.  In Georgia, Clark Atlanta University and Spelman College have taken similar precautions, while Southern University in Louisiana and Bethune-Cookman University in Florida have also warned students and staff to stay safe.

Let’s pray that a peaceful resolution comes sooner than later.
