Keke Wyatt’s 23-year-old son Rahjah Ke’ Morton is accusing his famous singer mother of using and exploiting his cancer battle for “attention,” alleging she told him he was diagnosed with the illness as “karma” for being gay. In 2017, Wyatt announced her son’s cancer diagnosis in an Instagram post. In it, she also told her fans that she planned to shave her head in solidarity with her son. Morton, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Leukemia, now updates that he’s in remission. Since his diagnosis, he successfully underwent chemotherapy and beat the disease in 2018. On Friday (September 5), Morton decided to join the “Put a Finger Down” TikTok trend and made the allegations about his famous mother.
Following the viral reaction to Keke Wyatt’s sons accusations, Keke Wyatt responded via her own social media saying that she will publicly address this one time only, asking fans for privacy and prayer.
“I love my son, and I love all of my children. I love all people. Anyone who truly knows me understands there is not a homophobic bone in my body”
