The just when we thought the cost of living couldn’t get any worse or the world we have come to know couldn’t get any worse January 2025 happened. Tarifs, groceries and the cost of living has gone up while a shift to take away from the poor came into play. The raises that we received during the pandemic was needed to stay the course however the assistance to help the poor is decreasing. Now we are here.
A 27 year old Jacksonville mother was arrested when she left her child in a hot car while she was inside a Publix grocery store shoplifting $234 worth of groceries.
Authorities said the child was “breathing rapidly and sweating” in the 91-degree heat but was quickly stabilized by emergency crews. While rescuers were tending to the child, the woman returned to the vehicle carrying stolen groceries, apparently unaware her child had been removed from the SUV. Police say the woman had tried to leave the store with $234 worth of merchandise without paying.
