Shannon Sharpe Has Been Cut Loose From ESPN After Reaching A Settlement !?

The Buzbee Law Firm filed a civil lawsuit on behalf of a brave young woman who alleges she was brutally sexually assaulted by former NFL player Shannon Sharpe on multiple occasions, the last incident occurring in January 2025.  Shannon Sharpe denied the accusations of rape and has countered with his own claim that the plaintiff, identified in her filing as Jane Doe, is simply trying to ‘extract a large financial settlement.’  According to Shannon Sharpe’s attorney, Sharpe’s ex Ms. Zuniga.  Tony Buzbee then announced in July that a settlement in the tune of $50 million had been reached. 

Although Shannon Sharpe continued with his two podcasts, Sharpe stepped away from his part-time duties with ESPN in April, now word in the streets is that Shannon Sharpe won’t have to worry about returning to ESPN because allegedly they are cutting him loose.  As of this report the network declined to comment on the decision.
