Megan Thee Stallion and Roc Nation Vs. Cameraman Forced To Allegedly Watch Megs Smash Lawsuit Saga Continues

Former cameraman of Megan Thee Stallion, Emilio Garcia filed a lawsuit in April 2024, alleging harassment and the creation of a hostile work environment during his employment with Megan Thee Stallion from 2018 to 2023, where according to Garcia he was forced to watch Megan Thee Stallion engage in a sexual act with another woman in an SUV.  Following the alleged SUV incident, Garcia claims Roc Nation altered his compensation structure, leading to reduced earnings, and that he was fired in June 2023 and allegedly blackballed from the entertainment industry.

Megan Thee Stallion’s team and Roc Nation denied the allegations, calling Garcia a “con artist” and his lawsuit a “shameless money grab”. Her attorney, Alex Spiro, stated that the lawsuit is an employment claim for money with salacious accusations intended to embarrass her, hence, Megan Thee Stallion and Roc Nation files a motion to dismiss the lawsuit.

Well a judge doesn’t agree with Megan Thee Stallion’s team or Roc Nation.

On July 2, 2025, Judge Gregory H. Woods denied a motion to dismiss the lawsuit against Megan Thee Stallion and Roc Nation , ruling that Garcia’s claims were plausible enough to proceed to trial. The judge specifically noted that Garcia, who is gay, “plausibly” pleaded that the SUV incident created a hostile work environment based on his sexual orientation.
