Caitlin Clark Slapped With A Flagrant Foul On Angel Reese [VIDEO]

The Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese you don’t see me saga continues. Louisiana State University led by Angel Reese beat the University of Iowa led by Caitlin Clark in the women’s NCAA tournament final in 2023.  As historic as a game that was, what most remember is when Angel Reese gave the ‘you don’t see me’ gesture that Caitlin Clark had issued out all season long.  The battle between these two women put a long awaited as well as deserved spot light on the game of women’s basketball, and to that point the WNBA season has kicked off and all eyes as well as tempers were on Caitlin Clark vs. Angel Reese.

The first meeting of the year between the Indiana Fever (Caitlin Clark) and Chicago Sky (Angel Reese) went down in epic proportion as the classic battle led to a scuffle between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese late in the third quarter.

Things started with Caitlin Clark committing a clear foul on Angel Reese, stripping Reese of the ball and giving her enough of a push to knock her off-balance. Reese was not happy about the play, confronting Clark as Aliyah Boston tried to hold her back. After review, Clark was assessed a flagrant foul for the extra contact, categorized as a Flagrant 1. Reese and Boston were given off-setting technical fouls for the skirmish after the foul.

Angel Reese received her technical foul for asking Caitlin Clark after the foul, “The f*** is wrong with you?”

According to Caitin Clark:

“It’s just a good take foul,”  “Either Angel gets a wide-open two points or we send ’em to the free-throw line. Nothing malicious about it. It’s just a good take foul, every basketball player knows that.”

Angel Reese’s response:

“Basketball play. Refs got it right. Move on.”

In the end the Indiana Fever won 93-58 win over the Chicago Sky with Caitlin Clark finishing with a 20-point triple-double 10 assists and 10 rebounds.
