Prayers: Rapper Fat Joe’s Mother Has Passed At The Age of 77

Prayers are in order as reportedly the mother of rapper Joseph “Fat Joe” Cartagena has passed away at the age of 77 years old. 

Fat Joe shared the news that he lost his mother to a broken heart following the passing of his father just months ago.  

According to Fat Joe’s touching photo post:

“This a real one, rest in peace to the woman who brought me in this world. She didn’t have much but she gave us everything.”

“Mommy till I see you again, you were my world, my heart, my everything. I’ll continue to make you proud.”

Fat Joe reflected on his mom’s strength and devotion to her family and community. He says she chose to remain living in the projects for years, despite his financial success, because of her deep love for her neighbors.
