Back in November, Donald Trump filed a $10 billion lawsuit that has since increased to $20 billion, against CBS News and Paramount Global, accusing the network of election interference for how they aired the Kamala Harris interview. The suit claimed CBS knowingly edited out key moments from the interview with Kamala Harris and replaced them with more polished soundbites during the primetime broadcast. The lawsuit stems from an exchange Harris had with “60 Minutes” correspondent Bill Whitaker, who asked her why Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wasn’t “listening” to the Biden administration.
Flowers bloom where rain falls, hence why big ups are in order as the infamous ’60 Minutes’, Kamala Harris interview has been nominated for an Emmy Award.
The nominations for the 46th News & Documentary Emmy Awards were announced Thursday. “60 Minutes” landed several nods, most notably in the Outstanding Edited Interview category for its primetime special featuring then-Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.
