Colorado’s Heisman Trophy Winner Travis Hunter Father Has Permission To Be By His Side For Draft Night [VIDEO]

Colorado’s Travis Hunter won the 2024 Heisman Trophy and is projected to go in the top 10 of the 2025 NFL Draft.  Travis Hunter paid tribute to his father, Travis Hunter Sr. a former track and football standout in Florida, of whom he inherited his athletic ability, in an emotional speech after he won the Heisman Trophy.  His dad, Hunter Sr. wasn’t able to attend Travis Hunter Jr.’s historic Heisman ceremony because Travis Hunter Sr. is reportedly serving a home confinement sentence related to a 2023 arrest involving gun and drug charges.

Praise God though, that Travis Hunter Jr. will have his father Travis Hunter Sr. sitting by side when his name gets called for the 2025 NFL Draft.

According to reports, Travis Hunter Sr. has been granted a temporary leave from house arrest so he can attend the NFL Draft in Green Bay.  Per the terms of his approved travel plans, Travis Sr. is only permitted to travel between his hotel and Lambeau Field, the site of the draft, taking place April 24th – April 26th.

Travis Hunter  Jr. is expected to be picked as soon as No. 2 overall by the Cleveland Browns.
