Erykah Badu’s Makes A BBL Statement Whie Accepting Billboard Icon Award [VIDEO]

Erykah Badu since she told us to call Tyrone has never been one to take a window seat to artistically voicing her opinion on the culture of the world, hell she even took to ‘X’ formerly known as Twitter, owned by Elon Musk, to say she was vandalizing her own Tesla to stay on trend.  So why at 54 years old showed Erykah Badu do anything different?

Erykah Badu attended the Billboard Music Awards in a critique on BBL culture. In other words, she rocked a body augmentation suit, red lip, and intentionally messy wing as she took home the Icon Award.

The “Didn’t Cha Know” artist also has teased her return to the recording studio for her first new album in 15 years to Billboard for the 2025 Billboard Women in Music award show on Saturday, Erykah Badu confirmed she is working on her sixth studio album in collaboration with hip-hop producer The Alchemist.
