DMX Ex-Wife Tashera Simmons Speaks On His Billionaire Status That Went Wrong [VIDEO]

In 2021 Hip Hop said good by to legendary Ruff Ryder rapper Earl ‘DMX’ Simmons at he young age of 51 years old, who died from a cocaine-induced heart attack which cut off blood flow to his brain, a fatal combination. 

It was no secret that DMX had his issues, none the less he was a pioneer in many things for Hip Hop.  DMX could not only be heard on his own albums but many collaborations, sound tracks as well as being on reality television before the phenomenon of ‘Love & Hip Hop’.  Hence money should have never been his struggle.

DMX First Lady in marriage Tashera Simmons recently sat down in an interview saying that DMX was close to billionaire status but he made a costly mistake.

According to Tashera Simmons, DMX turned down a lucrative opportunity to invest in the Barclays Center alongside Jay-Z, a decision she believes could have significantly changed his financial trajectory.  She went on to say DMX was on the cusp of becoming a billionaire. However, due to a series of missteps and personal struggles, that level of success never materialized.

DMX and his ex-wife Tashera Simmons had four kids together.  DMX had 15 children in total by nine different women.
