Writer/Activist Kevin Powell Says That Snoop Dogg Is A Hip Hop Fans Backstabber [VIDEO]

The thing about putting words in the air is, you can’t snatch them back.  Once you verbalize it, you either got to stand on it or apologize for it, and if it is captured on audio/video, words that slide out of your mouth can live for ever.  Snoop Dogg had a tongue lashing for those he called Uncle Tom’s belonging to The Coon Bunch that considered performing at Donald Trump’s inauguration, only to drop it like it’s hot for a room full of people that doesn’t even know what that means at one of Donald Trumps inaugural events.  Now acclaimed writer/activist is singing The O’Jays ‘Backstabber’ to Snoop Dogg.

In a recent interview Kevin Powell thinks that Snoop Dogg sold out his fans for the bag, and stabbed Hip Hop in the back.

“It’s saying to me you don’t really care about the people who’ve supported you all these years, including folks who may be Black or queer, etc. All you care about is your own career, your own access, and, again, that bag of money.”…it’s a “stab in the back”
