10 Killed, 30 Injured New Year’s in New Orleans After Truck Drove Through A Crowd [VIDEO]

Prayers are in order as it is being reported that 10 people were killed and 30 injured when a truck intentionally drove through a crowd as New Year’s revelers in New Orleans were trying to celebrate the coming into 2025.

The New Orleans Police Department told PEOPLE that the incident happened after the truck driver drove his vehicle down Bourbon Street at a high rate of speed. The suspect was then killed after he exchanged gunshots with the police around 3:15 a.m. local time.

Police Commissioner Anne Kirkpatrick said the driver was

“hell-bent on creating the carnage and the damage that he did.” “It was very intentional behavior. This man was trying to run over as many people as he could,”
