Denzel Washington Baptized And Becomes An Official Minister [VIDEO]

Congratulations are in order as Denzel Washington was reportedly baptized over the weekend.  But wait there is more, the Oscar Award winning actor also has officially became a minister as well.

The 69 year old, actor, Denzel Washington has a new role not in a movie but on life and serving God.

“It took a while, but I’m finally here…If [God] can do this for me, there’s nothing He can’t do for you,”  “The sky literally is the limit.”- Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington was baptized by Archbishop Christopher Bryant at the Kelly Temple in New York City on Saturday.

According to Bishop Christopher Bryant in a Facebook post:

Denzel Washington’s recent commitment to faith and service is truly inspiring. His baptism and licensing to preach is the culmination of a life of faith.
